The internet of Things is rising rapidly
According to Gartner, Inc., homes and commercial buildings will take the lead in the Internet-of-Things (I-o-T). Gartner estimates that 1.1 billion connected things will be used by smart cities in 2015 , rising to 9.7 billion by 2020.
In 2015 45% of all connected devices will be in homes or in commercial buildings. This number will triple in the next two years, is estimated by Gartner. In 2020 homes and buildings take probably 80% of al the I-o-T at their account.
