New insights through Big Data. The average car ride in the Netherlands is 19 kilometer. An an average day cars are only used 1 hour per day.

This is the outcome of a research done by the ANWB (dutch car association) last year. In 500 cars a sensor was placed in the steering wheel. The data gave an insight in the use of those cars.
