Smart City Tours

Visit the front running Smart City project in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will be transported to the different locations by comfortable coaches. At the different projects that you will visit, you will hear all about the way they started and the opportunities and challenges they faced.

About The Beacon

The Beacon is a partnership between the City of Antwerp, the Port of Antwerp, the University of Antwerp, the research centre imec and technology federation Agoria, managed by Co.Station. With a focus on Industry 4.0, logistics and Smart City, The Beacon is a place where unique collaboration around IoT and Artificial Intelligence is happening between researchers, startups and industry, all through value creation and open innovation. During the excursion there are several presentations about Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence and a tour at the Smart Zone.

About Sail at Scheveningen

In June 2019, Scheveningen will be the finishing point of a major international maritime ship event: a fleet of tall ships will sail to The Hague to round off the Liberty Tall Ships Regatta. The types of tall ships include Barques, Brigantines and Frigates, hailing from more than 15 countries. The local tall ships, Bark Europa and Minerva will be present. During the excursion there is a cruise with ship at the sea and a tour at the Sail at Scheveningen Village.
