The times are changing
Cities all over the world are facing revolutionary changes in city lighting and consequently huge investments in the replacement of conventional street lighting into highly intelligent lighting systems. Opportunities and ambitions are rapidly growing and difficult to keep track of. To become more affordable, cities need to start investigating the wide range of benefits of switching from a traditional professional field of city lighting to the far more complex network of smart lighting technology.
To achieve this, exchanging of new knowledge, bright ideas and creative solutions on a regular basis is becoming increasingly important. Effective collaboration with new industrial sectors is not only needed but decisive for operating successfully. Therefore new modes of cooperation are essential, potentially able to open tremendous opportunity’s to integrate all kinds of intelligent solutions in order to improve the lives of the citizens of the world.
